About the Family Resource Network

Connecting families, agencies, and communities across West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.

Our mission

The Family Resource Network of the Panhandle (FRNOTP) facilitates collaboration among agencies and organizations to ensure accessible, affordable, and efficient family services throughout Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan Counties.

We exist to make help easier to find. Whether a family needs food, housing, childcare, health services, or someone to point them in the right direction, our role is to connect people to the resources already in their community — and to bring the organizations that serve them closer together.

What is a Family Resource Network?

Family Resource Networks are community-based organizations that respond to local needs by partnering with residents and with public and private organizations to develop projects and provide local resources. FRNs are part of a statewide network coordinated through the West Virginia Family Resource Network.

FRNOTP brings that statewide framework home to the Eastern Panhandle — keeping the focus local while drawing on the strength of the broader network.

We help families navigate to the right resource, and help organizations reach the families who need them.

Partner collaboration

We convene agencies, nonprofits, schools, and providers to coordinate services and reduce gaps.
